I bought this for my golf-loving husband for Christmas. When he opened it up, the KIDS went crazy (ages 2 and 8). Husband enjoys it, especially when the weather is not favorable and they are stuck indoors. We set it up in the basement playroom. Kids love to watch the balls shoot back to the original putting position. Great product!

and with the automatic return ball it really is a lot of fun

This item works great. The “only” problem we have had with it is that one of our cats finds the return function fascinating ! Too often he decides to lay on the mat while “catching” the returning balls ! We are not golfers but my wife said she would like to learn so I bought this as a gift for her. We both found out immediately that learning to not hit the ball too hard was the most difficult part. The unit goes together quickly and the mat lays flat without a problem. The ball return has worked perfectly—except for the cat issue !!!

I bought this as a gift for my husband, who is learning to golf. At first, it took a while for the green mat to ‘flatten’ out and he was considering returning the gift. However, after putting books on the mat for a few days he decided to try the putting and likes how accurately the return mechanism works.

If you putt on greens with a 3″ hill right before the cup this is the product for you. As advertised it does make you hit the ball harder but you do not (in my opinion) get a good feel for distance control which is as important as alignment unless you hit the cup every time. Also the ball hangs up in the return and does not always roll out on the surface. I might be able to tweak it so it does.
